This is a Reynolds Emperor trombone made around 1960. Serial number is 500xx. I don't know the bore size, but it's small.
I bought this horn because it's the same model [even the same style case] that I started with in the 5th grade, back in 1962.
This horn is in OK condition. There's plenty of lacquer wear, as you can see in the pictures. The handslide works OK. It's definitely not "perfect", but it's playable. The original Reynolds case is good enough to protect the horn. And it's not an old musty case. Just old. But it does the job.
