This is an Olds Studio trombone made around 1975 in Fullerton, California. Serial number 9299xx. It has a .485"/.500" dual bore handslide and a 7-1/2" bell. This Studio is all nickel-silver. [Some are brass with a nickel-silver bell flare.] This horn is in nice condition. Handslide is excellent.
The bell was recently repaired professionally to remove some dents. The denting had been caused by the previous owner using a case that was not right for this horn. You can still see some scratches from where the handslide section had bumped against the bell when inside the case. But the dents have been removed.
There is NO CASE included with this horn. I've been using a ProTec tenor trombone case with it. But that is *NOT* included in this auction. There is also NO mouthpiece included.
